1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Oryn application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Oryn.

2. Description of Service

Oryn provides a privacy-first mobile productivity interface for IIITDM campus users. The app decodes raw email communications into structured feeds, academic timetables, mess menus, and home screen widgets. Oryn operates entirely on-device and does not collect or centralize user communications.

3. User Account & Google Authentication

Accessing Oryn requires authenticating with a valid Google Account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Google credentials. Oryn relies on Google OAuth 2.0 PKCE authentication protocols to grant access directly from your device to Google Gmail services.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Oryn only for lawful purposes related to campus awareness. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the binary application packages.
• Use Oryn to bypass official institute notifications or academic regulations.
• Misuse Google OAuth services or attempt unauthorized API requests.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Oryn is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. While Oryn strives for maximum parsing accuracy using Machine Learning algorithms, official institute announcements on academic portals or official emails always supersede parsed representations.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Oryn, its developers, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of Oryn following any updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
